Unintentional hiatus

I've been rather busy, what with the end of summer and the beginning of a new academic year.  I'd also run out of pictures from volume one of my grandparents' photo albums -- and I've not made a whole lot of headway into the second volume.

Hence, my posting of pictures has slowed down significantly.

I have some pictures uploaded, so I'm going to set those up to post over the next couple of weeks.  And I'm going to get back to scanning the pictures very soon, too.

August 15th

Today would have been both Ruthe's birthday and the Coopers' wedding anniversary.  So, to honor that, I post this lovely picture of the two of them heading off to their honeymoon after the wedding.  The caption in the album reads "Alley Oop and Bride."
