There are all sorts of pictures in the first album of Kenneth and Ruthe with various friends from College of Emporia and other places. I don't know most of them, of course, but I've been learning more about them.

Ruthe and Dale Corson. I recently learned that he went to C of E with my grandparents, went to grad school and went on to lead Cornell University. Pretty fancy.

Meekers galore

The caption identifies the people in the picture as John, his mother, Mil, Ben, Mary and Ruthe Meeker, and Aunt Linda. The picture is in Herrin, Illinois, so Aunt Linda and Grandmother Meeker must be on a visit to the manse.

It is entirely possible that I've posted this one before. Georgia Meeker (and at this time, she was probably still Georgia Poage) is standing in back.

As with the last picture, I particularly like the hats that everyone is wearing here.
