Well, no.
Have you seen the picture of the Meekers camping (grandma would have been about 16 or 17 at the time) -- John Meeker is camping. In a suit.
No, I haven't seen that one. But somehow, that doesn't surprise me that John would go camping in a suit. Send me a copy or post it one the blog. I'd love to see that photo.
It's in one of the old photo albums in Nashville, so I don't have it. I'll try to get K or P to look for it or else have Mama look for it next time she visits.
There is a pair of pictures in Nashville -- of John Meeker -- one Grandma always called "Sunday" and the other was "the rest of the week." And, yes, he is smiling. We'll have to go thru the old Nashville albums to find it. I don't think I have it.
