We went to Albuquerque last weekend to spend time with the extended Bradley family. This is the view from Bill and Ellie Archibeck's backyard.
Not bad.
We've been traveling a lot and we've managed to see some family we rarely see (we both have extended family in ABQ, conveniently enough). The semester is winding down (as is the excessive traveling); I'll get back to pictures soon -- it's time to start scanning photos from Ruth Cooper's photo album, volume 3. I'm almost out of photos from volume 2.
So, sit tight, dear family, I'll get those things up.

The only thing we have to fear ...
I climbed to the cupola on top of St. Paul's Cathedral in London. I did not fall off. I did not cry (though I think you can probably tell I'm gritting my teeth in this picture).
I have successfully climbed yet another thing that I'm terrified of climbing.

International Women's Day
The Starz club.
I know I've posted this before, but it's a great picture of my great-grandmother Georgia -- and it's a reminder to me of the importance of the women in our family histories. This year is the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day. It's important to me to honor the women of our past by working to secure a more equal world for the women of the future.

Schlitz My Birthday...
... so in honor of that, I figured I'd post a picture from the Br side of the BrIsaacson family for the first time in, like, years.
.From left to right, we have my Aunt Anne (Bradley) Bonney, my father Joseph (the man behind the Schlitz) Bradley, and my aunt Mary Ellen "Ellie" (Bradley) Archibeck. I don't really have any specific information about when this photo was taken-- in fact, I just kinda stumbled upon this CD labelled "BradFamilyPix" which was either created by Emily or my mother-- but, judging by the fashion, the decor, and my dad's haircut and physique, I'm guessing early 70s. 1973, maybe? Definitely before I was born. And I'm 35 today, in case you were wondering.
